  1. Ant's UFO Screen Saver ReadMe

  4. This screen saver consists of just one file - UFOs.scr. 
  5. To install, copy the file to your Windows directory then select it 
  6. from the list of savers in the Desktop Properties dialog under the 
  7. Screen Saver tab.
  8.  
  9. You will get a mini preview in the Preview window, but this will only 
  10. show one UFO of the Gerry Anderson type regardless of the number and types
  11. selected in the configuration dialog. This is not a bug, so don't report it!
  12.  
  13. You need to be running in at least 256 colour (8-bit) mode, but if you wish to
  14. use the 'desktop' background you'll get better results in 16 or 24 bit colour.
  15. However, performance will be relatively worse in these modes due to the larger
  16. amount of data to be shifted for each frame. Sorry.

  18. To uninstall, simply delete the .scr file again. You can also remove the registy
  19. entry under..

  30. I've seen problems with certain Diamond Stealth cards where there is corruption
  31. of the colours and transparency - They don't seem to work the same way when
  32. combining monochrome and 8-bit images as all the other cards I've tried.
